WORLD WAR II HONOR ROLL EVENT

Radio station WMNI/AM920 in Columbus, Ohio is working with Visiting Angels Living Assistance Services to honor veterans who sacrificed in service to their country during World War II. 2010 will be the 65th anniversary of the end of the war, and WMNI will pay special tribute to those men and women who served with the WMNI World War II Honor Roll.

Beginning December 28th and continuing each day thru VJ Day on August 15, 2010, WMNI will observe news from the war 65 years ago that day and spotlight a member of the WMNI World War II Honor Roll, a WWII veteran living or deceased whose story of service has been shared by his or her family.

If a member of your family served in World War II, you may nominate him or her for the WMNI World War II Honor Roll by visiting WMNI.com. Click on the keyword "HonorRoll", complete the form and include a picture of your World War II Hero. WMNI will post a gallery of all heroes nominated for all to see.
