Veteran Medals Unit

Any veteran, spouse, mother, father or child can procure the medals earned by the veteran while on active duty by applying to the US Army Clothing and Heraldry, Veteran Medals Unit, Building 6B, North Room 328, 700 Robbins Avenue, PO ox 57997, Philadelphia, PA 19111-9026, or email usarmytheraldry@dla.mil. 

If you do not know which medals are authorized the veteran, you can go to http://vetrecs.archives.gov and ask for that information..  After you have received that info, you can contact the address above for the medals. 

Of course, when you apply, you must have a written request and a copy of the veterans DD Form 214 to accompany it.  Send  that info to National Personnel Records Center, 9700 Page Ave., St. Louis, MO 63132-5100.  From there, go to the 1st paragraph in this list to order the medals.
