VETERANS DAY - What does it mean?

It's a well-known fact that the value of our veterans is becoming diminished during the course of time, as society today has forgotten what it really means to be a veteran.  Sure, there are parades and flag raisings, and even some ceremonies that are standard throughout the country, but does anyone really know what it means to be a veteran.  On top of that, how many know the proper way to fly the American Flag, or to fold that flag when it is taken down from it's high perch?  How do you tell your children about veterans so they understand what a veteran is, and who our veterans are?  Well, the attached pdf files came to me via email and I thought it might enlighten you and give you some information to pass on to your children and grandchildren.  The first attachment shows how to fold the American Flag, and the second attachment is a teaching tool about Veterans and what Veterans Day means.  Please pass this on to all your siblings so they can show it to their children so they will never forget.
