SUPPORT GIFTS FOR YANKS

WE COULD USE SOME HELP...

The Gahanna American Legion Post is a strong supporter of the Gifts For Yanks Program, which every year provides gifts to all the injured soldiers, both men and ladies who have been wounded or worse due to the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Those veterans are given primary care in Germany and then moved to Veterans Administration Hospitals in the states, and the main one for Ohio is in Chilicothe, Ohio. 

While we are able to provide smaller items for the veterans, many of them have lost limbs or are bedfast and we would like to be able to provide a little extra for those veterans, who, when they leave the hospital would leave the items with another veteran.  The Gahanna American Legion Post has many members, but most of them are retired veterans themselves, and they have little to donate to this cause, so we are asking for the general public to help us out.  You can click on the DONATE button to make a donation via Paypal to our Post, where the funds are held in a separate fund until April when we hope to have enough to complete our mission.  All donations are guaranteed to go to Gifts for Yanks.  You do not have to have a Paypal account to use Paypal.
