Ladies Auxiliary

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 797 is working to build its membership, and is asking all spouses, daughters, and female siblings who are related to, descended from, or widows of a veteran  to please consider becoming a member of Auxiliary Unit #797.  If you are in the Gahanna proper area, we welcome you to affiliate with our Unit, but if you are too distant please consider any other Post that has an Auxiliary, and join them.  

If you need assistance locating other posts, please contact one of the members listed below and they will be happy to assist you.  The Gahanna Auxiliary Unit meets the 3d Thursday of January, April, May, September, October and November at the VFW Hall at 7 pm, and you are welcome to attend the meetings.  It would be advisable to call one of the officers listed below first, to confirm the time and location.

To join the Auxiliary, you need proof of your military affiliation, or your spouses or parents affiliation with the military, which would normally be a DD Form 214, Discharge Certificate.  Below is a pdf file of the membership application which you can print out, complete, and mail, with the appropriate dues fee, or carry to the meeting.  All mail goes to American Legion Auxiliary 797, P.O. Box 30843, Gahanna, OH 43230.  Verification of eligibility (sponsor's DD Form 214, Active Duty Orders, or Discharge Orders) are acceptable.
