Buckeye Boys State

Buckeye Boys State is held at Bowling Green State University annually and lasts for 2 weeks.  The competition for a slot there is tough, and the interviewers are dedicated to selecting the most qualified young men to attend this course.  This year, the Post haD 9 of it's own boys attending, with 1 dropping at the last minute.  Anyone who wishes is allowed to visit the University to see how these young men are doing.  Another great year for Gahanna area youth and Buckeye Boys State!!

During 2012 the Post sent 8 young men to Buckeye Boys State.  The quota for Post 797 was originally 9 attendees .

Interested in sponsoring one or more of these future leaders of our city, state, or nation?  IF SO, contact Craig and he will meet with you and go over the details and the benefits of sponsorship.  Sponsors of this nationwide program will be featured on this site each year to let everyone know how much you care about our young boys who are our future leaders.  Get on board and show the youth of Gahanna that you care about your and their futures.
