Buckeye Boys State

Buckeye Boys State is held at Bowling Green State University annjually and lasts for 2 weeks.  The competition for a slot there is tough, and the interviewers are dedicated to selecting the most qualified young men to attend this course.

During 2008 the Post sent 14 young men to Buckeye Boys State thanks to other American Legion Posts not having enough youngsters to fill their slots.  The quots for Post 797 was originally 7 for the Post and 1 for the SAL Squadron.
